- Sure you can, when you JOIN V2 from that point on you can LOGIN and change your details at any time or unsubscribe.
- Do you use Cookies?
- V2 does use "cookies" to store and collect information regarding your usage of the website. These types of cookies aren't the chocolate chip kind, they're small pieces of information stored by the browser on your computer's hard drive. They send information stored on them back to our web server when you access our website. These cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to put in place personal settings and load your personal preferences. This makes it a better experience for you.
- How do I access each artist page
- You can select the artist you wish to browse from the drop down menu in the top right hand corner of the website.

- When I subscribe to receive newsletters how secure are my details?
- V2 are committed to ensuring that all your personal information collected is kept private and protected. We' have ensured that V2 is absolutely secure in the collection and use of your personal information. And all our companies follow the Data Protection Act 1998 and are registered on the public register of data controllers maintained by the Information Commissioner. You also have complete control over the information stored about you and what types of information, if any, you'd like to receive. We'll keep prying eyes out!

- Are there limits on how many times I can play a track?
- No you can enjoy the music as much as you like. Once you have purchased and downloaded a track, it's yours to play as many times as you'd like. You can also create audio CDs, and transfer your tracks to compatible portable players.
- Can I listen to the music before I buy it?
- Sure you can. Wherever you see a [ PLAY ] button you can click and stream musicyou’re your computer. You will need Windows Media Player to listen and ensure that your volume is not muted
- Can my downloaded music be copied or moved from one computer to another?
- Yes, files may be activated on up to three computers at any one time and as many of your personal portable devices as you wish.
- Do I have to LOGIN to buy music downloads, merchandise or other items?
You can browse and add items to your shopping basket, which you can show or hide at any time, without signing in. When you are ready to check out you click the CHECKOUT button.
This then takes you to the 3 stage check out process. If this is the first time you have bought something from V2 you need to create a secure account. At any time you can withdraw your name from this database should you choose and at all times your personal information will be kept in a secure environment. When you create your secure account you will be asked to choose a shopping pin which is your password for shopping.
Then when you have created the secure account each time you purchase you need to login to purchase using your email address and shopping pin.
- Do I need to be connected to the Internet when I play my downloaded music?
- No. When you have downloaded your music file to your computer you will be able to play it through your media player without being logged on to the Internet.
- How are refunds calculated
- The amount of your refund depends on several factors. If the return is our error we will pay for the cost of return. However, we have to ask you to cover the cost of return shipping otherwise.
For any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error we are unable to offer a refund.
- How do I download the music downloads once I have gone through the payment process?
- On stage three of the checkout process you will have a page confirming payment and deliver details and this will include links to all the music downloads you have purchased.
Click on each link to save to your PC/Mac.
- How do I make sure I do not lose my downloads?
- Ensure you know where you have saved it so you can then play through your compatible music player. When you purchase your music download from V2, the music files are stored on your PC/Mac. You will be prompted to either 'Save' or 'Open' the file before downloading starts. If you choose to 'Save' the file, you can specify exactly where the file is to be saved. We recommend that you save these music files somewhere you'll remember, say the 'My Music' folder, located on the C: Drive. You can then import your tracks into the music player that you use on your PC/Mac.
- How do I pay for my music downloads or other items?
- Once you have all the tracks/items you wish to purchase in your shopping basket, you can click the CHECKOUT button. This will take you through the 3 stage checkout process. You will pay with the credit card details you have detailed in your secure account. A confirmation email of your purchase will be sent to your email account upon confirmation of your transaction.
- How do I play my music after I have downloaded the music files?
- To play your music, go to the location in your hard drive where you instructed the file to be saved during the download process. Double click on the file and it will automatically open up your selected music player and begin playing the track.
- How do I put my downloaded music files into my music library to play through my designated music player on my PC/MAC?
- Once you've downloaded the music files from V2 you will probably want to import it into your designated music library. The MP3 files format can be played through any music player including: iTunes, Windows Media Player, WINAMP, Real Player. The secure WMA files can only be played through a Windows Media Player. Remember, you can also sync your MP3 files with your iPod and all MP3 compatible devices and your WMA files with compatible Windows Media Devices.
For Windows Media Player users:
Start up Windows Media Player
- Click the media library tab
- Select ‘add’ from the menu, and then select ‘add file or playlist’ from the dropdown menu.
- This will open a browser window. From here navigate to where you downloaded your music from V2 and saved it to following purchase.
- Select your file / files and click ‘open’.
- This will automatically include your chosen track in your Windows Media library.
- From here you can enjoy your downloaded music from your library or your Windows Media Player compatible portable device.
For iTunes users :
Start up iTunes
- Click file from the menu, then select add file to library
- This will open a browser window. From here navigate to where you downloaded your music from V2 and saved it to following purchase.
- Select your file / files and click ‘open’
- This will automatically include your chosen track in your iTunes library
- From here you can enjoy your downloaded music from your library or mobile on your iPod / Mini iPod.
- How much music can I download from the shop?
- As much as you like!
- How secure is the secure account?
- V2 use a highly secure system provided by Sentinel which enables you to purchase items in the future using your existing account. The service uses Secure Sockets Layer and uses industrial strength 128-bit encryption software to ensure your personal details are always safe and secure. No individual can access your payment details. This provides the highest levels of security.
- I have lost my download what should I do?
- Do you know where the files are stored on your PC/Mac? When you purchase a permanent download from V2, the music files are stored on your PC/Mac. You will be prompted to either 'Save' or 'Open' the file before downloading starts. If you choose to 'Save' the file, you can specify exactly where the file is to be saved. We recommend that you save these music files somewhere you'll remember, say the 'My Music' folder, located on the C: Drive. You can then import your tracks into the music player that you use on your PC/Mac.

- What are the system requirements for browsing/listening and downloading from V2?
- V2 sites can be viewed on a monitor with a screen resolution of 800x600 or greater.

- What do I do If I forget my password/shopping pin?
If you forget your shopping pin go to the checkout page type in your email address and click the ‘forgot your pin?’ button. You must use the same email that you used when you first created your secure account.
You will then be sent an email with a new PIN number which you can then edit in your secure account area at check out.
- What format are the music files I download?
- You can download the music files in WMA format and in some cases you have the choice of downloading MP3s
WMA files (Windows Media) offer superb sound quality and a fairly small file size. WMA also protects your music with advanced security features that protect music content - each V2 song you've bought is encoded especially for you.
WMA files are encoded at 192kb/sec bitrate, meaning they sound virtually indistinguishable from the original master files. Download suppliers have personally done extensive testing in studios & clubs around the world, chosen the settings and are confident about the high fidelity of these files.
MP3 music files have no secure protection. You need to ensure that you keep these files safe. They are in your trusted hands and you need to ensure they are not available for sharing with others illegally. If you have any friends who like the song and would like to purchase it you can introduce them to the V2 site where they can purchase their music download and the artist will then get paid helping them to continue their creative work. MP3s are encoded at a bit rate of 192 - 256kbps rate.
- What is your refund policy?
- We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return.
- What players/ compatible devices can I play my music downloads on?
- For the secure WMA files you need a player that supports Windows Media 9 format.
The downloaded MP3 files play on all devices including iPods.
- Where in the site can I buy downloads?
- You can buy downloads of music wherever you see add to cart [ + ] in the SHOP area of each artist page or by clicking on the [ BUY ] link. The link displays whenever there is digital content available for the release.

- Why do I need a shopping pin?
- You need a shopping pin so that we can verify who you are. Your own user area contains vital personal info and holds your tracks you just purchased. Also if you return to the shop all you need to do is tell us who you are (using your email and shopping pin) and it will be easier to purchase second time around. Do not give your email or shopping pin to anyone without consent. As it gives access to your secure account which holds your payment details.
- Why do you need my email address?
- Your email is used as you’re unique identifier. Username is needed so you become a unique user to our site. This allows us to contact you if you have a query with the site or require a new shopping pin. We will also send you a confirmation email whenever you purchase a music download. We will not pass on your email address.
